On September 26-30, 2022, the 41st World Championships in the category of seniors in fly fishing took place in Spanish waters. The competition arena were the rivers Caudal, Pilona, Trubia and Narcea as well as Lake Arenero. The first ever World Fly Fishing Championships were held in 1981 in Luxembourg. Anglers from the Netherlands won the individual and team classification.
Recently, I often hear a question about which fly to choose over water, which will meet the angler's expectations for a successful cat. This is called the theme of the river;) because it depends on everything from the season of the year, the color of the water, the atmospheric conditions, the method we want to fish for, we will choose the baits.
Jestem pasjonatem wędkarstwa muchowego od 1981 roku. Miałem wtedy 17 lat i złowiłem swojego pierwszego lipienia na suchą muchę w rzece San. Paradoksalnie nie było to wcale na współczesnym Odcinku Specjalnym „OS San”, ani na najbardziej znanych obecnie miejscówkach tej rzeki w okolicach Leska, lecz na tzw. „dolnym Sanie”, kilkanaście kilometrów na północ od Sanoka, w miejscowości Mrzygłód, poniżej ujścia Potoku Tyrawskiego.
My dreams came true this year's trip to Norway during which I could fish on the rivers Glomma and Rena.
